Social media is great for a lot of things… and stalking is one of them 👀
I use the Twitter search bar as I would use Google to find people at the media outlet I’m pitching.
This is the best place and the best way to start building relationships with the people you’re pitching.
You can also ping them on Twitter to give them a heads-up about the story idea you just hit send on or mention their work.
I love showing you the ridiculous emails I get and how I play along with the scammers.

I’ve been out of the pitching game for a while… and it’s harder than it used to be.
