Media Opportunity in Women’s Health Magazine

Media coverage is super easy when a national producer reaches out to you out of the blue, right?

That’s what happened to me after I started working on some Super Bowl party decorations.

Of course, the theme was Taylor Swift.

When I posted my BINGO cards on TikTok, someone took notice and sent me a DM to be included in her story about my Super Bowl era.

The moral of the story?

Overpost it all.

You never know who could see it.

My NEW Website

Is anyone really happy with their website?

I feel like sometimes I am, then I get an idea or my goals change… and it’s back to the drawing board.

So, I did a thing.

For years, ChristinaNicholson.com redirected to MediaMavenAndMore.com.

Not anymore!

Now, ChristinaNicholson.com is my personal brand website and MediaMavenAndMore.com is my agency website.

Obviously, there is going to be some overlap, and I still have lots of tweaking to do, but the goal is this…

ChristinaNicholson.com: All about me and what I do outside of agency work, like one-off projects

MediaMavenAndMore.com: All about the publicity and content creation agency that does not necessarily include me, but my team instead

I made this super easy too.

I paid the company I use for website maintenance $100 to duplicate my Media Maven site and made changes to Christina Nicholson from there.

Still to come… a color change for my personal website, a new image for Media Maven, etc.

Any other suggestions?

A year and a half ago, I bought a vending machine off Facebook Marketplace and dropped it into our local community center because, apparently, I like turning random ideas into family businesses. At first, Landon was ALL in. Every week, he was ready to check inventory, restock snacks, and count the money. (Very CEO energy for a fourth grader.) Now? The novelty has worn off just a little. He is significantly less thrilled about weekly vending machine maintenance, which honestly feels like a...

This went viral on LinkedIn, and based on the response, a lot of people have dealt with some version of this. A potential client once told me to choke on a chicken bone. Twice. This happened before he ever became a client. He had reached out about hiring my agency and seemed interested, but never actually moved forward. But that didn't stop him from copying me on emails with business updates, personal news, and political opinions. (He was very concerned about who used what bathroom. I...

A teenage founder was introduced to me by Kristin Kenzy from Drunk Business Advice after building a new product called CoDuck. He described it as a tool for building enterprise-scale websites with advanced capabilities and the simplicity and ease of use people love. In his view, most current products make you choose between power and usability, and CoDuck is his attempt to close that gap. In the email intro, Kristin asked: How can he get attention for a tool like this? My answer was simple...
