Did I just go viral?

Shelf-Made Stories is just about ready to launch.

I’ve got four episodes recorded and edited, with seven scheduled to record.

So, what’s the hold up?

Me looking at a calendar and planning it.

That’s literally it!

In the meantime, I’m having fun with Bookstagram.

Stop it with the 24/7 AI

Speaking of the new podcast…

I recently used Peter Shankman's SOS to ask for book entrepreneurs to interview.

Most of them began with "As a longtime book lover..." and they were pitching something that had nothing to do with books.

One was a website with dog toys. I swear.

(I didn’t even take the time to search for a book squeaky toy, because that’s NOT a bookish business, bro.)

I can’t even begin to fathom how people think responding to a query with unrelated responses will work.

In trying to save time by using AI, they are actually wasting time.

I can’t even. 🤦🏻‍♀️

For more on AI fails, look at this post from Brandon Watts. (Follow him while you’re at it. His content on LinkedIn is 🔥)

Did I go Viral?

I really don’t know what viral means anymore, but this LinkedIn post did pretty well… and continues to draw in my former news colleagues who feel my pain.

It’s All or Nothing

Last week, I told you about my friend’s Female Founders Journal.

It is now almost 60% funded, but we need your help to reach the finish line.

Remember, Kickstarter is all-or-nothing. If we don't hit 100%, all support is lost.

Let's make another push to get this valuable resource into the hands of women entrepreneurs everywhere!

After spending 10 years building her own business, Lisa created this powerful 90-day guided journal specifically because she discovered that mindset is just as crucial as strategy.

The Female Founders Journal is designed to help you:

  • Build rock-solid confidence
  • Finally overcome imposter syndrome
  • Celebrate your wins
  • Transform your inner dialogue

Whether you're just starting your entrepreneurial journey, experiencing rapid growth, or considering an exit strategy, this journal provides the mindset tools you need to succeed.

Don't miss your chance to support this project by clicking here!

One of my clients had this lovely little email list just sitting there, collecting digital dust. No newsletters. No updates. Nada. So I said, “Let me take this off your plate.” But of course, then came the question: What the heck do we send? We landed on a rhythm that feels just right. Every newsletter follows the same format.
